Family and Group Therapy
Group Therapy
Group Therapy is directed toward achieving specific goals defined by the individuals care plan. Services may address goals/issues such as promoting resiliency, restoration, development, enhancement or maintenance of cognitive skills. Group Therapy may also address goals/issues related to healthy coping mechanisms, adaptive behaviors and skills, interpersonal skills and identifying and resolving personal, social, intra and interpersonal concerns.
Family Therapy
Family therapy is a type of psychological counseling (psychotherapy) that can help family members improve communication and resolve conflicts. Family therapy is often short term and may include all family members or just those able or willing to participate. Your specific treatment plan will depend on your family's situation. These therapy sessions can teach skills that will allow for a deeper family connection and help guide you through stressful times.
